07/01 - After yet another early evening downpour, the sun came out to provide
a great night for the EFFA carnival. With three days left, there is still plenty
of time for you to come and enjoy the food and rides!
EFFA Carnival - Day One
06/30 - Despite a minor spurt of rain early in the evening,
the first day of the EFFA carnival was enjoyed by many in the community.
If you were not able to join us, we hope to see you later in the week!
Air Packs for Sale
06/30 - The Carlisle Firefighters Relief Association has Air Packs for sale.
They are Scott Air Pack 50's with carbon fiber cylinders and voice amplification
and are being sold for $300.00. Several spare face masks sizes small and
medium are being sold for $75.00. Spare cylinders are being sold for
$50.00. For more information, please contact Chief Boyce at the station

EFFA Carnival
06/26 - Tuesday June 30th-Saturday July 4th will mark the annual EFFA
Carnival at the Fire Station located at 177 Spring Rd, Carlisle. Food,
games, rides, and entertainment will be provided. Tuesday and Wednesday
nights will be "arm band night" for unlimited rides for a fixed price. Pie and
cake donations will accepted at the station beginning on Monday June 29th.

Busy Friday at Station 45
06/12 - Friday June 12th was a very busy day at Station 45.
At 11:40 hrs, Truck 45 was dispatched to W. Main St.(Plainfield) in West
Pennsboro Twp. (Box 46-01) for a house fire. Air 45 was en route a short
time later with additional manpower.
At 11:48 hours, Engine 45 was dispatched along with E141 to 850 Walnut Bottom
Rd. (Box 40-01) for a trailer fire. A large enclosed trailer filled with
personal items for a move had significant damage requiring overhaul. E45
was available at 12:28 hours.
At 13:51 hours, E45 was dispatched to 770 S. Hanover St. (Box 40-21) for an
automatic fire alarm at Chapel Point. Units were placed in service prior
to arrival due to a false trip of the alarm. Units were in service at
13:55.
